CreArt is committed to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every child who takes part in our art clubs and workshops.

We believe that all children have the right to be protected, listened to, and treated with respect. The welfare of the child is always our top priority.

SAFETY - GARDA VETTED

All adult staff and assistants working with CreArt are Garda vetted and follow our Child Safeguarding Policy, which is based on Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (Tusla, 2017).

Our safeguarding procedures include:

Clear codes of behaviour for staff and volunteers
Proper supervision and safe creative spaces
Training and awareness in recognising and responding to concerns

Favorite part of the camp was a mixture of meeting friends and doing an activity together and that helped create a good shared experience together. She developed her confidence in doing more art as she was in a place that allowed her to express herself and the teachers were so accommodating and kind.
